For over 25 years, Leslie Singer - author, communication designer, Art Director, educator and chronic entrepreneur – has succeeded in a career that reads like a tour de force through the creative side of the communications industry.

From her early days as an advertising agency Art Director for Ogilvy & Mather, to building her own powerhouse New York design firm 'Singer Design' to selling her company to the McCann Erickson World Group (part of the Interpublic Group of Companies, IPG), her experience is shared with her audience using a combination of entertaining insider details and proven tools for sure-fire success.

While working with The McCann Erickson Worldgroup, she started a custom publishing division for their McCann Relationship Marketing division that concentrated on CRM strategies. Leslie succeeded to make the five-year plan in year two as the Managing Director/North America and Chief Creative Officer.

She has been in more Fortune 500 conference rooms that she can count, working on marketing programs with clients such as Avon, Hallmark, Gateway Computer, General Motors, Sony Worldwide, Masco Corporation, Hertz, Avis, Qwest Communications, AT&T, American Express, FCB Advertising, Grey Advertising and publishing companies including Forbes, Time-Life, Hearst and Scholastic.

Leslie served 3 terms on the board of the Art Director’s Club, is a guest lecturer on Communication Design at the School of Visual Arts in New York, and taught a master's program at Marywood College. Leslie has participated in the Society of Publication Designers. The American Institute of Graphic Arts, The Corporate Designers Association and an active member of the American Marketing Association. She teaches a senior class; ‘Designing a Business’ for the School of Visual Arts in New York.

When advertising agencies and design firms put down their markers and picked up a computer mouse, Leslie Singer and Dawn Erdos published the first book exploring the new process of creative development: Concepts in Computer Design for MIS Press. It received 4 stars on Amazon.com - (a book review can be found on Byte.com.)

She has won awards such as The John Caples, The Obie, The Art Directors Club, The Business Communicators, the Andy, Society of Illustrators, How Magazine, The Broadcast Designers Association, among others.

After studying at the Rhode Island School of Design and the Massachusetts College of Art, Leslie earned her BFA in Communication Design from the Parsons School of Design/The New School.

When Leslie isn’t speaking, she is the Chief Creative Officer for G2 Branding&Design.
